Amílcar Cabral International Airport (GVAC) is located on the island of Sal in Cape Verde and serves as the country’s main international gateway in the Atlantic Ocean.

The airport features a long runway capable of handling heavy long-haul traffic. However, pilots face demanding approaches due to strong trade winds and frequent crosswinds.

Thanks to the developer FSDG, this airport is now available in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and 2020, offering a realistic experience of this important airport.
